Look, if you use Generative AI, you do you. We’re not going to tell you how to live your life. For us, though, we’re not going to rely on a machine to do work that requires a soul.
For coding, we allow the sort of tab completions that existed in IDEs long before LLMs. “AI Agents” writing entire features, though, have never felt particularly secure—or particularly good—so they can stay out. The same rule applies to our products: if AI doesn’t make the experience plainly better, it can stay out too.
Internally, if someone wants to use an AI Agent to write more than a few lines of code, they can bugger off—or, at the very least, be prepared to take responsibility for everything it writes. “The AI did it, not me!” isn’t an excuse.
That being said, what they do outside Wild is their business. We’re not going to micromanage someone’s life, and quite frankly, we don’t care.
And no, we won’t deliberately write worse English just to prove a human touched the keyboard. You’ll have to take our word for it—or don’t.
